Urgent or short-notice respite — Flexible support when unexpected needs arise are provided in our warm and cozy cultural friendly home.
These services help children and young people grow socially and emotionally while giving caregivers peace of mind
Family and Sibling Support
We recognize that families often juggle many responsibilities. That’s why we offer:
Sibling support — Care and engagement for siblings while primary care is focused elsewhere.
Family support services — Guidance, resources, and planning help so parents and caregivers can confidently navigate care, school, appointments, and community involvement.

We believe in active, meaningful community engagement. Our services include:
Supervised outings and group activities
Recreational participation
Community event involvement
Social and communication skill building
These opportunities foster confidence, social connections, and independence.
We provide urgent and emergency respite care for children, youth, and young adults ages 0–24 when families need immediate, short-term support due to unexpected or crisis situations.
Support may be provided:
in the home or in the community
during day, evening, or overnight hours (based on availability)
All urgent placements are quickly assessed to ensure safety and the right level of support.
We also plan to expand services in areas such as:
Play-based learning and play therapy
Music and art-based activities
Social communication supports
Creative group sessions and structured therapy-style engagement
These options enhance personal growth through fun, expressive, and strength-based approaches.

Land Acknowledgement for Treaty 6
Bloom community Haven respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional meeting grounds, gathering place, and travelling route for diverse Indigenous peoples including the Cree, Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Iroquois, Dené, Ojibway/ Saulteaux/Anishinaabe, Inuit, and many others whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to influence our vibrant community.
We acknowledge all the First Nation, Métis and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for generations. We are grateful for the Traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us. We recognize the land as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside on or are visiting.
All of us who live and work here benefit from the signing of this Treaty and have a responsibility to ensure that the spirit of Treaty 6 is honoured and respected.
